Though culverted and coerced, the Rea flows 14 miles through the historical foundation of Birmingham, as a constant motif against the shifting relationships and identities of the city and its people.

The images explore the relationships and dialogues that exist between the seen and the unseen. Examining the arbitrary and the random interactions that exist along the route of this often neglected and forgotten river.
